The skyscraper, is set in Turin near the historic center, at the intersection of Corso Inghilterra and Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The realization is part of an agreement signed between the city and Intesa Sanpaolo which also includes the redevelopment of the adjacent Nicola Grosa Garden, and an underground parking lot with 8,800 square meters in via Nino Bixio.
The work, which required a total investment of about half billion euros, was entirely financed by the banking group to host the central and managerial offices.

The inauguration took place in April 2015, 5 years after the beginning of the works. The students of the II level Master in Design and construction of high-rise buildings participated in the project, organized by the Turin Polytechnic of Turin in cooperation with Intesa Sanpaolo and the Turin Chamber of Commerce.

The skyscraper develops vertically on 44 levels, which 38 above ground, reaching an height of 166 meters.

The structural elements consist of a core, which contains the compartments for the seventeen elevators and stairs, and a supporting skeleton, arranged according to the plan of 7000 square meters, which supports the outer casing in aluminum and glass.

The building has within it a mix of work spaces and for the community. The underground section host a hypogean garden, a kindergarden, a restaurant, local facilities and three levels for parking for over 300 cars.

At the top of the skyscraper there is a 15,000 square meters bioclimatic greenhouse divided into 3 levels: the roof garden with a panoramic restaurant (35th floor), an exhibition hall (36th floor) and a galley cafeteria (37th floor).

Most of the building materials used contains a recycled component or is produced not far from the construction site area, allowing a considerable saving on transport costs.
