The Italian research center "Mario Zucchelli" created in 1996 is located in the southern part of Antarctica in Terra Nova Bay. It conducts research in geophysics, biology, oceanography and environmental sciences.

ISOLPACK provided materials adapted to freezing temperatures, making the spaces for the activities of the comfortable and suitable to work in that environment hostile. The panel ALFA 2 is used for the construction of the walls of the boxes. The panel ALFA 2 is an insulating panel, the thickness of which is designed to ensure maximum performance and can be wide up to 200 millimeters.
