In March, it was concluded the last sector of the bikeway that connects San Lorenzo al Mare to Ospedaletti on the old railway tracks. An amazing landscape resource that connects eight municipalities: San Lorenzo al Mare, Aregai, Santo Stefano, Arma di Taggia, Sanremo and Ospedaletti.

This bikeway is unique in it's kind in Europe and in the future it will be able to reach a length of 70 km once the construction of a parallel new railway road in western Liguria will be completed. The railway tunnel of Capo Nero, 1.750 meters long, has been transformed into a gallery, "Museum of Milan - San Remo bicycle race", for a total cost of €2,5 million (source: Regione Liguria website). The ceiling has been covered with an arched Isolpack R/W 1000 corrugated steel sheet in order to protect pedestrians and cyclists from the possible water leakings coming from the ceiling. Specially designed graphic panels, installed on R/W 1000 corrugated steel sheet, bring so many stories and situations that have marked the Milano-Sanremo since his 107 year history. 

Isolpack R/W 1000 is an extremely versatile corrugated steel sheet which can be used in a wide range of architectural applications, the tunnel covering is just one of them. The tunnel sport museum of Capo Nero is not the only one to have been covered with this product, all the tunnel sections of a 24 km road are covered with Isolpack corrugated sheet.
